Stage 5

San Vigilio di Marebbe – Riscone/Brunico

Option 1: Moderate

Starting from Passo Furcia, ascend along trail no. 1 through the forest. At the summit, follow the panoramic loops (Via Artis and Concordia), which feature art installations and offer stunning vistas of the Puster Valley, the Zillertal Alps, the Fanes, the Sella and the Odle. Finish at the Peace Bell and the optional Messner Museum, before descending by cable car to Riscone.  

Option 2: Easy

Take the Ruetz cable car up to Kronplatz and explore at your own pace: visit the Peace Bell and the LUMEN Museum of Mountain Photography, then follow the Via Artis/Concordia loop to enjoy the magnificent panoramic views overlooking the Fanes, Puez and Odle mountains and the Puster Valley. You can also opt to visit the Messner Mountain Museum Corones before descending by cable car.  

Option 3: Challenging

Note: On the final day, only the easy and moderate options are available due to the departure time. Choose based on your fitness level, interest in elevation gain and how much time you want to spend visiting museums.
